How We Farm
Working with nature to grow food that is honest, healthy, and free of chemicals.
Natural farming is a way of growing food that works with the land instead of against it. A plant draws most of what it needs from the air, the water, and the sun. The rest comes from soil that is truly alive. So instead of chemicals, we keep the soil healthy with natural inputs made on the farm. The result is food you can trust, grown the way it always should have been.
The Methods
A complete way of working with the land, built on living soil and inputs made on the farm, with no synthetic chemicals of any kind.
A living tonic of cow dung, cow urine, jaggery, pulse flour, and soil that wakes up the helpful microbes the soil depends on.
A natural coating for seeds that guards young roots from disease and gives every plant a strong, healthy start.
We keep the soil covered with straw and crop leftovers, so it stays cool and moist and slowly feeds the earth as it breaks down.
We hold the gentle balance of air and water in the soil that roots love best, treating water as the precious thing it is.
No synthetic fertilisers or pesticides at any stage, from the seed we sow to the harvest we bring to your family.
Good to Know
It is a way of growing food that works with nature instead of against it. We build living soil, treat our seeds and feed the land with natural inputs made on the farm, keep the ground covered, and never use synthetic chemicals. The soil does most of the work, and we simply keep it healthy.
Organic farming allows approved outside inputs and usually involves a certification process. Natural farming goes further and relies almost entirely on the farm’s own resources, like Jeevamrut and Beejamrut made on site, with very little brought in from outside. It is a low-cost, traditional approach that puts the health of the soil first.
Yes. We do not use synthetic fertilisers or pesticides at any stage, from the seed to the harvest. Everything is grown the traditional, natural way, and you are always welcome to visit and see how.
Jeevamrut is a living tonic we make on the farm from cow dung, cow urine, jaggery, pulse flour, and a handful of soil. It does not feed the plant directly. It wakes up the helpful microbes in the ground, so the soil grows richer and more alive over time.
Beejamrut is a simple, natural coating for seeds made from cow dung, cow urine, and lime. We treat our seeds with it before sowing to protect the young roots from soil-borne diseases, giving each plant a strong and healthy start with no chemicals.
Covering the soil with straw and crop leftovers keeps it cool and moist, softens the sun, holds back weeds, and slowly feeds the earth as it breaks down. Underneath that cover the soil stays alive and full of worms, which is exactly what healthy crops need.
Natural farming does not depend on a certificate. What we offer instead is openness. We grow without any synthetic chemicals, and anyone is welcome to come to the farm, see the methods for themselves, and decide with their own eyes.
We warmly welcome visitors. Please reach out through the contact page or WhatsApp and we will arrange a good time for you to come and walk the fields with us.
