What we collect, why we collect it, and what we will never do with it.
Last updated 29 July 2026
We collect only what you choose to send us, and we use it only to reply to you. This website measures how its pages are used only if you agree to it, and you can say no or change your mind at any time.
Shiv Prakrutik Farm is a family-run natural farm at Village Valli, Tarapur, Anand, Gujarat, India. This policy explains how we handle information from visitors to our website and from people who get in touch with us.
If you have a question about anything here, you can reach us by email at shivfarm8@gmail.com or by phone at +91 97146 18193.
This policy covers this website and the messages you send us through it.
It does not cover other companies. If you message us on WhatsApp, or visit our pages on social media, those services handle your information under their own policies, and we would encourage you to read them.
You can read every page of this website without telling us anything about yourself. We only receive information when you decide to contact us.
If you use the contact form, we receive:
Your name, which the form asks for so we know who we are replying to.
Your email address, so we can write back.
Your phone number, if you choose to add it. This is optional.
A subject, if you choose to add one. This is optional.
Your message, in your own words.
If you write to us by email, call us, or message us on WhatsApp, we receive whatever you send in that message, along with the phone number or email address you send it from.
Please share only what you are comfortable sharing. We do not need sensitive personal details to answer a question about vegetables, a farm visit, or how we grow.
When you first arrive, this website asks whether you are willing to let us measure how the site is used. Until you answer yes, nothing is loaded from any measuring company and no cookie is set. If you answer no, or simply carry on reading without answering, it stays that way.
If you do say yes, we use two services to understand how people find and read the site: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. They set cookies in your browser and tell us things such as which pages are read, how long people stay, roughly which part of the world a visit came from, and what kind of device was used. Microsoft Clarity also records how a page was scrolled and clicked, so we can see where the site is confusing.
We use this to make the site better, and for nothing else. We do not use it to advertise to you, and we have turned off the advertising features of both services. We are not trying to work out who you are, and neither service tells us your name.
You can change your mind at any time. "Cookie choices" at the bottom of every page brings the question back, and answering no stops both services and tells them to clear what they hold in your browser.
One thing is stored either way: your answer itself, kept in your browser so we do not have to ask again on every page. Without it a no could not be remembered, which would make refusing harder than agreeing.
The fonts used on this site are served from our own website rather than from another company, so simply reading a page does not send a request to anyone else.
Like almost every website, ours is kept online by a hosting company. Their servers keep short technical records of requests, which can include the internet address of the device making the request, the type of browser, and the date and time.
These records are created by the hosting company for security and reliability, not by us for marketing. We do not use them to identify individual visitors.
We use the information you send us to:
Reply to your question or enquiry.
Tell you what is growing and what is available.
Arrange a visit to the farm, if that is what you have asked about.
Keep a simple record of our conversation with you, so that if you write again we remember what was discussed.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not use it to advertise to you, and we will not add you to a mailing list because you asked us a question.
A few trusted services help us receive and read your message. They see only what is needed to do that job:
Our form service, Web3Forms, receives what you type into the contact form and delivers it to our inbox. It acts as the postman for that message.
Our email provider stores the message once it arrives, in the same way any inbox does.
Our website hosting company keeps the technical records described above.
WhatsApp, if you choose to message us there, handles that conversation under its own terms.
Google and Microsoft, but only if you agreed to being measured. They then receive the pages you looked at, along with your internet address and details of your browser and device. Neither of them is sent your name, your email address, or anything you typed into the contact form.
Other than this, we share your information only if the law requires it of us.
We keep enquiry messages for as long as we need them to answer you properly and to remember our dealings with you, and then no longer than is reasonable.
If you would like us to delete what you have sent us, please ask and we will do it.
This website is served over a secure connection, so what you type into the contact form is encrypted on its way to us. Access to our inbox is limited to the people in the family who answer enquiries.
We should be honest with you: no website or inbox anywhere can promise perfect security. We take sensible care, and we ask you not to send confidential information such as bank or payment details through the contact form, because we never need them.
Indian data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, gives you rights over your personal information. You can ask us to:
Tell you what information of yours we hold.
Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
Delete what you have sent us.
Stop contacting you, at any time.
To ask for any of this, write to us at shivfarm8@gmail.com or call +91 97146 18193. We will do our best to answer promptly, and we will not charge you for asking.
If you feel we have not handled your information properly, please tell us first so we have a chance to put it right. You also have the right to raise the matter with the Data Protection Board of India.
This website is meant for adults who want to learn about the farm or buy what we grow. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information about them.
If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Some pages link to other websites. Our learning pages, for example, cite sources such as the World Health Organization and the Food and Agriculture Organization so you can check the facts for yourself.
Once you follow a link away from our site, you are on someone else’s website, and their privacy policy applies rather than ours.
If we change how we handle information, for example if we add a map or a newsletter to the site, we will update this page and change the date at the top of it.
We would encourage you to look at this page again if it has been a while since your last visit.
If you have a question about your information, or you would like us to correct or delete something, please get in touch.
